Tucked away on its own bend along the stream, perched under a grove of Black Oaks, the Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort has a magical feel. Located only 25 miles away from Yosemite Valley along California's scenic Highway 140. The "Bug" offers a relaxed and social atmosphere where families, backpackers and international travelers all find welcome and a variety of affordable accomodations and amenities.
At the "Bug" we feature a variety of unique lodgings to suit any budget. From private rooms, to insulated tent cabins and licensed hostel dorms, our guests find our facilities to be anything but a 'standardized box' setting.
Our guests are welcome to eat at our gourmet cafe that features a small menu, highlighting local and organic ingredients (some even from our on-site garden). Or, enjoy the fully equipped hostel kitchen. Both have Wi-Fi and are well stocked with board games, books and lively conversation from a plethora of different types of people.
The Spa is located below the lodge with its own garden deck overlooking the valley below. There, our guests will find a yoga studio, massage and treatment rooms, as well as herbal steep baths, a hot rock sauna and a huge stainless steel hot tub. The asian influenced feel offers a calm yet social environment.
